Trinity Jubilee Center’s Free Clinic: Walk-in Medical Attention
At our Free Clinic Dr. Haines provides medical attention to the uninsured. Recently patients have come in with glaucoma, diabetes, seizures, burns, and other injuries. Treatments include donated over-the-counter medicines, illness-specific prescriptions (usually low-cost generics from discounted lists, no narcotics), wound care, instruction in managing chronic illnesses, and supportive counseling. Other services from partner agencies, including HIV and Hep C testing, flu vaccinations, and cancer screenings, are offered when available. Work-capacity and BMV forms are filled out by the physician. The Clinic is open from 8:30-10:30 on Wednesdays and sees four patients per week. Patients are seen on a first-come, first-serve basis and the day’s schedule is posted at 6:00 AM Wednesdays. Patients are encouraged to come early to secure a slot.
Make a monetary donation to the Clinic
Patients of the Free Clinic are often homeless, sick, hungry, and unable to afford medications. Your contribution can help patients access what they need, such as Penicillin for an infected tooth ($13), an elastic bandage for a sprained ankle ($10), or heartburn, depression, or blood pressure pills ($4). We also like to keep many over-the-counter medicines on hand.
