Trinity Jubilee Center’s Free Clinic: Walk-in Medical Attention

At our Free Clinic a doctor provides medical attention to the uninsured. Recently patients have come in with glaucoma, diabetes, seizures, burns, and other injuries. Treatments include donated over-the-counter medicines, illness-specific prescriptions (usually low-cost generics from discounted lists, no narcotics), wound care, instruction in managing chronic illnesses, and supportive counseling. Other services from partner agencies, including HIV and Hep C testing, flu vaccinations, and cancer screenings, are offered when available. Work-capacity and BMV forms are filled out by the physician. The Clinic is open from 8:30-10:30 on Thursdays and sees four patients per week. Patients are seen on a first-come, first-serve basis and the day’s schedule is posted at 6:00 AM Thursdays. Patients are encouraged to come early to secure a slot.

Donate to the Free Clinic

Patients of the Free Clinic are often homeless, sick, hungry, and unable to afford medications. Your contribution can help patients access what they need, such as Penicillin for an infected tooth ($13), an elastic bandage for a sprained ankle ($10), or heartburn, depression, or blood pressure pills ($4). We also like to keep many over-the-counter medicines on hand.

I-693 Exams

We offer low-cost I-693 vaccination exams (for permanent residency / green card) for Lewiston/Auburn refugees at a discounted cost! Six appointments per month are available with Dr. Alice Haines at our 247 Bates St. office. Priority will be given to clients who have a USCIS deadline. To schedule, please send the completed first page of the i693 form and proof of your current year Covid-19 vaccination to alicehainesuscis@gmail.comor by fax to 207-344-3000 or drop it off at the office. No walk-ins. Cost is $115 for each adult and $90 for each child. At this time we only have the capacity to do i-693 exams for refugees but we hope to expand and offer exams for – all permanent resident applicants in the future!
