Erin serves as the Executive Director at Trinity. Erin began volunteering at Trinity in 2004, as a dishwasher in the Soup Kitchen, and joined the staff in 2010. Her week is a blend of client interaction and behind-the-scenes efforts such as grant writing, event planning, and social media management.

She spends most days working with clients in the Refugee Integration Program, the Day Shelter, and the Food Pantry. Passionate about her multifaceted role, Erin finds joy in the daily variety of tasks such as distributing diapers, assisting with immigration paperwork, and strategizing client service improvements. Most fulfilling is witnessing the tangible successes of those she helps—be it celebrating new jobs, sobriety milestones, or new homes. Erin’s vision for the center focuses on ensuring stability and happiness for its guests.

Tonya is the Day Shelter Manager at Trinity, where she skillfully oversees daily operations, as well as working in the Food Pantry and Refugee Integration Program and managing the Soup Kitchen on Saturdays. With a deep background in social work, in 2017 Tonya transitioned from retail back to her passion for directly assisting people.

Her role involves building relationships with shelter guests, connecting them to vital resources, and ensuring their safety and well-being. Her commitment stems from her volunteer experiences, including a transformative stint with AmeriCorps. In her personal life she enjoys long drives and relaxing by the ocean. Motivated by a strong connection to her community and the impact she can make, Tonya finds fulfillment in mentoring young volunteers and assisting those in crisis—a reflection of her deep empathy and commitment. Her vision for Trinity includes expanding services and facilities to better support those in need, driven by a belief in the power of community to address homelessness and other social challenges.

Our Volunteer Coordinator at Trinity, brings a unique blend of experience and passion to her role. With a background as a Correctional Acuity Specialist for the Maine Department of Corrections and service in the US Navy, Jessica is well-versed in verbal de-escalation and is an active member of the NA Recovery Community.

In Maine, she embraces the outdoor lifestyle, enjoying paddle boarding, fishing, and snowmobiling with her family. Jessica was drawn to Trinity by the organization’s profound community impact and the cohesive spirit of the team. She oversees volunteers across all programs and enjoys bringing together volunteers from diverse linguistic backgrounds to serve the community. Jessica loves distributing stuffed animals and candy to clients’ children and witnessing their delight. Looking ahead, she envisions a future where Day Shelter guests find stability in their own homes and are fully integrated into supportive community networks.

Outside the kitchen, Cassandra finds joy in painting, crafting with her grandchildren, and spending quality time with her family. She believes strongly that food insecurity and homelessness are issues that could touch anyone’s life, especially in times of economic uncertainty. Through her work and dedication, Cassandra embodies the belief that everyone deserves to be seen and supported.

Yasmine is a dedicated member of the Refugee Integration Program at Trinity, where she plays a vital role in assisting clients with a range of needs including resume building, job applications, and navigating complex paperwork related to immigration and social services.

She also staffs the Food Pantry, Day Shelter, and Resource Center. Prior to joining Trinity, she honed her organizational skills as an accounting assistant. Yasmine graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Mental Health and Human Services in May 2024 and holds certifications as a Direct Support Professional (DSP) and Certified Residential Medication Aide (CRMA).

Soup Kitchen Staff
Rochelle is a Soup Kitchen Staff Member. Her job involves prepping, cooking, and serving lunches to clients on Saturdays. In addition to maintaining a clean and organized work environment, she provides guidance to clients when needed.

Rochelle is studying full-time for her Associate’s Degree in Mental Health and Human Services and holds certifications in ServSafe, CPR, and First Aid. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her kids, fishing, and watching comedies. Inspired by the warm and passionate team at the Jubilee Center, Rochelle finds fulfillment in meeting new people, learning about other cultures, and making a positive impact on the community. She hopes to see the Center continue to raise awareness about the challenges of homelessness, hunger, and mental health, encouraging more people to get involved in making a difference
Rachel
Soup Kitchen Staff
Rachel is a member of our weekend kitchen staff at Trinity, where she plans and prepares over 100 meals, educates volunteers on kitchen safety, and ensures a welcoming atmosphere for everyone we serve.

With a diverse background including roles as a Front Office Manager at a veterinary hospital and experience in banking and property management, Rachel brings a unique skill set to her work. Beyond her professional life, Rachel is deeply involved in her community. She co-founded a nonprofit dedicated to rescuing ‘unadoptable’ cats and supports spay/neuter initiatives for feral cats in underserved areas. At Trinity, Rachel values the opportunity to engage with community members, cherishing the simple joy of exchanging smiles and making everyone feel seen and valued. Driven by a passion for Trinity’s mission, Rachel believes that everyone deserves dignity and respect, regardless of their circumstances and that while we may not eliminate the challenges our clients face, we can continue to be a beacon of support and kindness in their lives.
Malaiko
Refugee Integration Program Staff
Malaiko works in the Refugee Integration Program, Day Shelter, and Food Pantry at TJC, where she assists clients with resume writing, job applications, and accessing food and diapers. Prior to joining TJC, Malaiko worked at the US Naval Base in Djibouti.

Beyond her professional role, Malaiko values spending time with her children. Her motivation stems from her own positive experiences with TJC, driving her desire to give back to the community that once aided her. Malaiko finds profound fulfillment in empowering those in need, embodying the compassionate spirit of TJC. Her role is not just a job; it’s a commitment to making a difference in the lives of others, rooted in gratitude.
